Cody Competes with USMTS at Deer Creek

Cody Thompson competed with the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) on Saturday night at Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minn.).

A talent-laden field of 52 Modifieds were on hand for the event, and Cody started his night by qualifying third fastest in his group followed by a third-place finish in his heat race.

Prelim action forced Thompson to the B-Main, where he finished third to lock into the 21st-starting spot for the 40-lap feature. He advanced two spots in the finale to finish 19th.
