Thompson takes on Park Jefferson Speedway
Cody Thompson returned to his home track of Park Jefferson Speedway (Jefferson, South Dakota) on Saturday to compete in the IMCA Modified division.
Thompson drove his Dakota Coating Solutions No. 25c Modified from sixth to fourth in his heat race, putting him in the ninth starting position for the 20-lap feature event on the 3/8-mile oval.
However, he was unable to complete all the circuits and registered a 10th-place finish in the 13-car field.
