6th-place finish for Thompson at Hamilton County
Cody Thompson traveled to Webster City, Iowa’s Hamilton County Speedway on Saturday for the track’s Ice Breaker. He drove his Dakota Solutions No. 25c Modified to a top-10 feature result in the season opener at the half-mile facility.
With 13 United States Racing Association (USRA) Modfieds on hand, Thompson took third in his heat race and rolled off second in the 20-lap, $1,500 to-win A-Main. He ultimately came home sixth.
